These Pro SDHC Cards, available in 16GB and 32GB, ensure that the quality of a user’s content remains true to the original source throughout the process of capturing, editing and transmission.

Also joining the Maxell lineup is a Multi-Interface External Hard Disk Drive. This sleek drive includes high performance USB 3.0, eSata, FireWire 400 and Firewire 800 interfaces to give broadcast professionals the bandwidth and transfer speed they need for today’s video editing and other projects. Specifically designed to address the large files associated with HD environments – including audio/video editing, digital photography, and animation files – this drive supports OS X® 10.5 (or later), Windows Vista, 7, 8, and Windows Server 2003, 2008. With 1TB, 2TB and 3TB capacities available, the Maxell Professional Plus Multi-Interface External HDD provides professionals with the means to reliably, quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively transfer, back up and archive HD files and footage.

The final product in this lineup is Maxell Professional Media’s SDHC/SDXC UHS-I to ExpressCard Adapter for Sony® SxS® applications, which provides a perfect solution for those XDCAM® EX camera users needing an affordable and reliable memory replacement to SxS® media. The adapter makes it possible for the excellent price/capacity ratio SD/SDHC/SDXC UHS-I memory cards to be used as recording media for the XDCAM® EX camcorders and, in addition, supports UHS-I memory cards. Unlike similar adapters, the key advantage of the Maxell Professional SDHC/SDXC UHS-I to ExpressCard Adapter is that it also works with memory cards above 32GB; namely, it supports SDXC cards up to 2TB, allowing for extremely long, continuous recording time and fast transfer for post-processing.
