i was wondering what good programs you guys use to help your beast ;) computers performing as well as they can. What programs you use to clean invalid registries, Defrag, viruses..etc. All i have is tuneup utilites and Ccleaner. What other programs should i try to get my hands on..or better yet that are free?

I use Ccleaner and AutoRuns. Together they can do wonders.

I do this to keep my PC clean and responsive: http://cyb3rglitch.com/Tweak-XP-Vista/Tweak-XP-Vista.html
Basically Ccleaner, msconfig, nLite/vLite and TweakVI/TweakVI.

Adaware (http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5&cdlpid=10045910)
Spybot search and destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html)
I have yet to find a safe "clean up tool" many of them hose your registry or delete files related to programs that are not currently running.

X-Cleaner, Spyware Doctor, SpywareBlaster, and Avira AntiVir have also been particularly helpful to me in addition to what has been listed. You also might want to find a decent defrag program if you don't already have one.
