Battlefield 4 PC Beta System Hardware Requirements Revealed
Today EA revealed the Battlefield 4 PC system hardware requirements for their upcoming beta and retail release of the video game.
From this information, it seems that anyone who played BF3 at Medium-High graphics settings settings or better will be able to enjoy Battlefield 4. Obviously, the Frostbite3 game engine will offer it’s best visual quality with DirectX 11 available on Windows Vista (with update), Windows 7, and Windows 8. In order to display the fluid graphics at frame rates that make the scenes appear more realistic, an AMD six-core or Intel quad-core processor is suggested, paired to 8GB of RAM for best performance.
Battlefield 4 graphics rely primarily on the graphics (video) card, and BF4 wants you to use an AMD Radeon HD 7870 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, especially for large monitors with high resolution and for the best (ultra) graphics quality… although the Radeon HD 3870 and GeForce 8800 GT will still manage to display the game on much lower quality settings and resolution.
As revealed on their official Facebook page, here are the BF4 PC system requirements:
