I purchased the SteelSeries Elite’s for $200, obviously before this WOW version. I’m sure they’re the same thing for $220, but with the WOW illumination upgrade.

They’re not worth $220 or $200 for that matter! They’re sure not ELITE! These have absolutely no volume, or bass! If you do not like loud gaming or music, then you will enjoy these. But being that they are USB 7.1’s they’re weak with volume. I will admit the sound is good, the 7.1 is good. The comfort is average. But if you like realistic loud surround headphones, these are not for you! I just purchased the Wireless Skull Candy 7.1’s for $180, in place of my SteelSeries Elite’s, and they have much more volume and bass! NO KIDDING!
Oh, and the dial volume on ear cup, will be up to the max all the time and you still will not have near enough volume!

Honestly I would pay $100 for the SteelSeries Elite’s, but not the Elite $200+ price tag!

Seems these reviews leave a lot of info out. Hope this helps your buying decision. Not hating on these, just wish I didn’t pay 200 bones! That is regretful.
